3. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data based on the following legal grounds:
- Contract performance: Processing necessary to deliver our Services to you
- Legal obligation: Compliance with AML, KYC, and other regulatory requirements
- Legitimate interests: Fraud prevention, platform security, and service improvement
- Consent: Where you have explicitly consented to specific processing activities
4. Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your data with:
- Payment processors and financial institutions for transaction processing
- Identity verification providers for KYC compliance
- Email verification providers, to confirm your email address is valid and deliverable when you register
- Email service providers (currently Brevo), to deliver transactional and — where you have opted in — marketing communications
- Video-conferencing providers (currently Zoom), when you book a call with our team
- Messaging platforms (currently WhatsApp/Meta), when you choose to contact us through those channels

Any third parties with whom we share data are contractually required to protect your information and use it only for the purposes specified.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to provide our Services and comply with our legal obligations. Specifically:
- Account data is retained for the duration of your account and up to 5 years after closure
- Financial records are retained for a minimum of 7 years as required by applicable law
- KYC/AML records are retained for at least 5 years after the end of a business relationship
6. Cookies & Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies on our website and platform. When you first visit, a consent banner lets you choose between "Accept all" and "Essential only" — that choice is stored for 12 months and you can change it at any time via the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer.
- Essential cookies: Required for the platform to function — your login session (PHPSESSID) and your consent choice itself (st_consent). These are always on.
- Analytics cookies — Google Analytics 4: We use Google Analytics 4 (cookies _ga and _ga_7N1ME51R0B, up to 13 months) to understand how visitors use our site. These are set only if you accept. If you decline, Google Analytics runs in cookieless mode and we only receive aggregate, non-identifying signals.
- Visitor & live-chat cookie (st_vid): A first-party visitor ID, valid for 1 year, that powers our live chat and lets us understand your journey on our site. Set only if you accept.
The consent banner is our primary consent mechanism. As a secondary control, you can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may affect platform functionality.
7. Marketing Communications
With your consent, we send marketing emails about our services, features, and offers through our email service provider. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time by using that link or by contacting support@snypertrades.com.
Opting out of marketing does not affect transactional and account-related messages — such as payout confirmations, security notices, and booking confirmations — which we send as part of operating your account.
8. International Data Transfers
We are a United States company, and our servers and service providers are primarily located in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the US, your personal data will be transferred to and processed in the United States and in other jurisdictions where our providers operate, which may not provide the same level of data protection as the laws of your home jurisdiction.
Where required by applicable law, we rely on contractual protections with our service providers to safeguard personal data that is transferred internationally.
9. Children's Privacy
The Services are intended for users 18 years of age or older, consistent with our Terms of Service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a minor, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact support@snypertrades.com.
10. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal retention obligations)
- Object to or restrict certain processing activities
- Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@snypertrades.com.
11. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including:
- SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmissions
- Encrypted storage of sensitive data including passwords and financial information
- Ongoing security review, system hardening, and vulnerability remediation
